“Una dey call my papa gay” – Peller fumes over parents’ online activities, recalls white wedding drama

Peller, a well-known video creator and streamer, has voiced his annoyance at his family members’ choice to post about their lives and activities on social media.

He bemoaned the way his family’s online presence has drawn criticism and conjecture from social media users in a TikTok live that went viral, especially with regard to his father after a video of him lying on a bed with another guy went viral.

“I don’t blame you people, it’s my family that I blame for putting themselves online. My daddy is on the bed doing video, na so dem dey call my daddy gay.

They talk say my daddy is a gay. Una dey call my daddy gay, so how did he give birth to me? Is it a man that gave birth to me?” he said.

Peller emphasised that nearly every member of his family now aspires to produce social media content, which has irritated him. He mentioned that significant family events, like as his white wedding, had also been impacted.

He claimed that although he had requested his family to keep the wedding small, his parents invited guests of their own choosing, changing the celebration from what he had intended.

“Me and my family are really angry with them. That was how I was doing my white wedding. I told them, invite few people. My mummy carry her own boyfriend come, my daddy carry his own girlfriend come. All of them now turned my party to something else,” he added.

His remarks have sparked discussions on social media, with some people finding his grievances amusing and others sympathising with his annoyance at having his family’s private matters made public.
