UCL: Chelsea reunite with PSG as last-16 ties confirmed

Chelsea will meet reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

The draw also paired Manchester City with Real Madrid, marking the fifth time the two teams have played in the knockout stages.

Despite six Premier League teams advanced to the round of 16, the draw provided no all-English matches.

Arsenal, the league leaders, will face Bayer Leverkusen, while Newcastle United will encounter Barcelona.

Liverpool has been drawn against Galatasaray, while Tottenham Hotspur will face Atlético Madrid.

Newcastle will host Barcelona in the opening leg, while the other Premier League teams will start their matches away from home.

The first legs are slated for March 10 and 11, with the return matches taking place on March 17 and 18 2026.

The Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, will host this season’s final on Saturday, May 30 2026.
