UAE Says It Will Not Forgive Iran For Attacking It During War with the US and Israel

The United Arab Emirates has intensified its criticism of Iran following a series of attacks that Emirati officials describe as unlawful acts of aggression carried out during the recent regional conflict involving the United States and Israel. Senior officials in Abu Dhabi have indicated that the consequences of the attacks are likely to have a long-term effect on relations between the two neighboring countries.

In a series of public statements, the UAE accused Iran of targeting civilian infrastructure and endangering regional stability through missile and drone operations. Emirati authorities argued that the attacks violated international law and represented a direct challenge to the sovereignty and security of Gulf states. The government has repeatedly maintained that the country was not an active participant in the broader conflict and had sought to avoid further escalation through diplomatic engagement.

Officials in Abu Dhabi have stressed that the attacks cannot be justified under any circumstances. They rejected Iranian claims that the strikes were retaliatory in nature, arguing that such explanations lack both legal and factual foundations. Emirati representatives have also urged the international community to hold those responsible accountable for actions that they say endangered civilian populations and critical infrastructure throughout the region.

The dispute has emerged as one of the most significant challenges to Gulf security in recent years. During the conflict, the UAE reported numerous attempted missile and drone attacks targeting strategic locations. Authorities stated that national air defense systems successfully intercepted the vast majority of incoming threats, limiting the damage and preventing a wider humanitarian crisis.

Despite its strong criticism of Tehran, the UAE has continued to publicly support diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions across the Middle East. Emirati leaders have repeatedly called for negotiations and dialogue as the preferred path toward regional stability, while warning that continued hostility could undermine economic growth, energy security, and international trade routes.
