A Nigerian X user, Muna, has recounted an incident that reportedly occurred in a neighboring apartment after a woman unexpectedly returned home and found her unemployed husband with another woman.

Sharing the story on Sunday, June 14, 2026, Muna said the situation was particularly heartbreaking because the wife had been shouldering the family’s financial responsibilities, including paying the house rent.

According to him, the woman had taken her children to their grandmother’s house on Thursday and was expected to return on Sunday night.

However, after one of the children became ill, she returned home earlier than planned on Sunday morning and allegedly discovered that her husband had been accommodating another woman in their home since she and the children left.

“A fight is going on in the house next to mine. This lady took her kids to their grandmother’s for the holiday on Thursday. They were supposed to be back tonight, but one of the kids got sick, so she brought them home this morning,” he wrote.

“However, her husband has been housing another woman since they left. For a woman who pays the rent and takes care of you while you’re job hunting, this is a t3rrible way to repay her. Some men need to do better.
