A Nigerian man identified as @AnyanwuMalachy on X (formerly Twitter) has narrated his experience withdrawing money at a Point of Sale (POS) stand.
According to the X user, while heading out, he stopped by a POS stand to withdraw ₦30,000.
However, the POS attendant gave him ₦21,000 in ₦500 notes and turned to attend to another customer.
He then pointed out the ₦9,000 shortfall, to which she claimed it was a mistake.
Annoyed by her response, he glanced at the attendant and stormed off.
”The moment I sounded angry, she started saying, “What’s ₦9k? Ordinary ₦9k? We don’t steal here. I just looked at the buffoon, shook my head and walked away”,
Meanwhile, the tweet has gone viral online, with netizens sharing their takes on the incident.
