“Teachers are getting k!lled on live video but the Nigerian President is campaigning for 2027” – Canada-based Nigerian man react

A Canada-based Nigerian photojournalist has sparked discussions online after criticizing what he described as a growing level of public indifference to vi0lent tragedies in Nigeria.

In a video shared on social media, the journalist compared the situation in Nigeria with his experiences in Canada. He recounted how the Canadian government observed a national day of mourning following a school sh00ting and how he was granted time off work after covering a fatal school-related accident because of the emotional toll the assignment had on him.

According to him, the constant exposure to vi0lence and tragic events has left many Nigerians seemingly desensitized, with public attention often shifting quickly after such incidents occur.

He also criticized President Bola Tinubu, alleging that political discussions are already focusing on the 2027 presidential election despite ongoing security challenges and continued loss of lives in parts of the country.

The remarks have since generated reactions online, with many users sharing differing views on public attitudes toward insecurity and the nation’s political priorities.
