After being called out by the husband of a woman he referred to as “sweet” while chatting in her inbox, a teacher has responded.
Anjov Emmanuel, a teacher in Makurdi, received a warning not to approach Mercy Demande. Labe Clement, the woman’s husband, issued the warning.
Labe continued by sharing Anjov’s messages to his wife, in which he referred to her as “sweet” and the wife responded in a courteous but brief manner.
Responding to the call out, Anjov said: “I didn’t want to respond to this but it’s just necessary that l do.
“Sometimes we got to rush slowly on issues else we expose our emptiness.
“I want to make it clear to you that your wife didn’t tell me she’s married. Probably if you’d rushed slowly you wouldn’t have come out here to display your emptiness and also expose your cherished wife to ridicule. Your post doesn’t imply what you said.”
