Unidentified gunmen suspected to be cultists have reportedly k!lled a youth identified simply as Marky in Aba.

The incident reportedly occurred on May 24, 2026, at about 12:35 p.m. in the Ogbor Hill area of the city.

According to reports, the a$$ailants allegedly chased the victim before shooting him d3ad inside an Apostolic Church near Opobo Junction in Ogbor Hill.

An anti-cultism group, Confra Naija, claimed the knlling was linked to cult-related activities.

“Marky had reportedly gone for sports that morning at Opoho Junction in Ogbor Hill, Aba. It was reported that while he was returning from where he had gone, the hit squad sh0t him, and he ran into the church, where he lay on the altar. The att@ckers followed him into the church and sh0t him again, making sure he d!ed,” the organisation said.
