Chibuzor Gift Chinenye, the founder of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), has promised free accommodation and welfare support for Nigerian families returning from South Africa, encouraging those who are reportedly sleeping at airports to take advantage of the scheme.
Chinenye stated on social media that he had got information that some South African returnees were spending the night at the airport owing to a lack of shelter.
He encouraged them to migrate to OPM’s free accomodation facility, where they could stay until they regained stability.
He indicated that their children will be admitted free of charge to any of OPM’s 43 free schools, with free daily bus transportation included.
Chinenye further stated that kids who complete secondary school via the project will be eligible for OPM university scholarships to study in Nigerian universities without having to take the ministry’s standard scholarship exams.
He also stated that both parents and children would have access to free medical care at OPM’s free hospital.
The monk also revealed that mothers will receive stores to help them relaunch small companies, noting that many had lost their means of income after their businesses in South Africa were vandalised.
He also indicated that men would be enrolled in OPM’s free skill acquisition centers to study a variety of trades for free.
Encouraging affected families to seek help instead of remaining at the airport, Chinenye wrote: “You don’t need to sleep at the airport there is a free accommodation for you and your family till when you are able to get back to your feet. Because GOD ALMIGHTY shall restore everything you lost.”
He urged Nigerians to spread the news so that it could reach stranded returnees who may be unaware of available assistance.
Chinenye concluded by stating that the initiative is “FULLY FUNDED THROUGH TITHES AND OFFERINGS FROM OPM CHURCH.”
