According to Aisha Lawal, a Muslim woman, men in Northern Nigeria mist√eat their wives and continue to bind them spiritually to prevent them from divorcing.

“Some men, especially in Northern Nigeria will be t√£ating their wives badly and still ”Kafi/Kafe” her spiritually so she won’t even think of leaving the marriage,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday. 

“If you see a man going spiritual to tie his wife down not to leave him then be rest assured that he is irresponsible. If he is good, she will never want to leave.”
