“Please call me…” — Lady narrates how her aunt got married to stranger she met at a bank

The pair recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary, according to a woman who told the touching tale of how her aunt met her husband at a bank.

The woman claims that she asked her aunt how she first met her husband since she was interested in how their relationship had started. The woman replied that they had met while conducting different banking operations.

She clarified that the man was there to make a cash deposit, but she had gone to the bank to pick up a new ATM card.

He asked her for a pen during their brief meeting, which laid the groundwork for what would turn out to be a memorable love tale.

Recounting her aunt’s story, the lady said, “Yesterday was my aunty’s 3rd wedding anniversary, so I asked her how she met her husband.”

She continued, “She said they met at the bank. She went to get a new ATM card, while he came to deposit money. The guy approached her and asked to borrow her pen. Before handing it over, she said, ‘Make sure you don’t leave with my pen.’ A few minutes later, he returned it. She noticed a tiny piece of paper inside the pen. She brought it out and it read: ‘I didn’t leave with your pen. Please call me.’ She said it was the most creative thing she had ever seen. The next day, she called him. The rest is history because yesterday, they celebrated 3 years of marriage.”

The woman concluded her post with a light-hearted suggestion that unmarried people could find love at the bank by borrowing a pen, which sparked debate and hilarity on social media.

The comment area became a collection of individual love stories as many social media users praised the narrative as charming and imaginative, while others shared similar tales of unexpected locations where they met their partners or marriages.
