A man’s article about his monthly income as a UBA employee has gone viral, leaving netizens in awe.
The individual, identified as @ndukaomeife on X (previously Twitter), disclosed that he joined UBA in 2006 with a monthly salary of ₦96,000.
Over time, his monthly income increased from ₦270,000 in 2007 to ₦440,000 in 2010 and ₦640,000 in 2014.
Despite his retirement, he is collecting a monthly pension of ₦65,000.

The X user shared that his first salary was at Prime Masters Limited in 1990, followed by Jones Emmanuel Promotions in 1991, where he earned ₦150 per month.
