Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has outlined four levels of financial returns he believes Christians can receive from God through consistent giving and tithing.
The cleric made the remarks in a video circulating online while teaching about the importance of remaining consistent in giving, even when economic conditions are unfavourable.
According to Ibiyeomie, the four levels are yearly returns, five-year returns, six-year returns and seven-year returns, which he associated with 30-fold, 60-fold, 100-fold and what he described as financial release, respectively.
‘Consistency Guarantees Annual Returns’
Explaining the first level, Ibiyeomie said Christians who give consistently for one year would enter what he described as the 30-fold realm.
“Consistency is a scriptural term to guarantee an annual return from God. One year is the thirty-fold realm,” he said.
He explained that those who maintained their giving for 12 consecutive months would experience what he called a harvest.
The pastor also warned that anyone who stopped giving before completing the year would have to start the process again.
“If you give to eleven months and you break it, you are starting afresh. That’s why many miss it,” he stated.
Five-Year Giving and the 60-Fold Realm
Ibiyeomie identified the second level as a five-year return, which he linked to the 60-fold realm.
He referenced Leviticus 19:23–25 while explaining this stage, arguing that Christians who remained consistent in giving over the period would advance to a higher level of financial blessing.
According to his teaching, consistency over several years was key to progressing through the different levels of financial returns.
‘Financial Slavery Ends After Six Years’
The cleric described the third level as a six-year return, which he associated with the 100-fold realm.
Citing Exodus 21:1–2, a passage concerning the release of a Hebrew servant after six years of service, he linked the biblical text to what he described as freedom from financial struggles.
“Financial slavery ends after you have done it for six years. Once you are consistent for six years, you find out that financial slavery has ended,” he said.
He further explained that reaching the 100-fold realm would mean people would no longer experience financial struggles as they had previously.
“Many think it’s hundred-fold, does it end? No. When you get to that, we are in a hundred-fold realm where you don’t struggle again, things happen,” he added.
Pastor Urges Christians to Remain Consistent Despite Economic Hardship
Ibiyeomie also cautioned Christians against waiting for favourable economic conditions before giving, arguing that there would never be a perfect time to sow financially.
“If you look at economy, you will never sow. There’s no time it will be convenient for you to sow,” he said.
“If you are waiting for a convenient time, it will never come. It’s not enough to be involved, you have to be consistent,” he added.
The pastor’s teaching has drawn attention to his interpretation of biblical principles concerning giving, tithing and financial blessings, as discussions continue about the relationship between religious giving and financial prosperity.
