A Nigerian man has recounted a 2022 incident that reportedly led him to stop attending church, sparking reactions online.

In a post shared on X, the man disclosed the identity of the church he attended before the incident, naming Omega Ministry as the place where the alleged encounter occurred.

According to him, the incident happened during a sermon when the clergyman was speaking about poverty.

He alleged that the pastor singled him out in front of the congregation and used him as an example while discussing poverty.

The man said the experience left him uncomfortable and ultimately influenced his decision to stop attending church.
