Outrage has been triggered by a video showing a young woman being brutally flogged by a masquerade.

According to reports, the incident happened during Delta State’s most recent Urhobo cultural festival.

In the video, the masquerade is seen flogging the woman with a long cane while she lies on the ground near a filthy gutter.

She begged, but the flogging persisted, and as she tried to flee the beatings, she nearly fell into the gutter.

Eventually, the masquerade came to an end, and his handler led him away.

This occurs just weeks after women were s3xually a$$aulted by men at another cultural festival in Delta State.
