A woman identified as Mrs. Alamu has appealed for help after she and several staff members and students of Community High School Esinele were reportedly abducted by unidentified gunmen in Oyo State.
In an emotional video circulating on X, the principal stated that the incident allegedly took place on Friday at about 9:30 a.m. in Oriire Local Government Area of the state.
In her words, she said:
“On Friday at around 9:30, we were attacked by a certain group of people. A good number of us were abducted, the staff and the students as well.”
The woman appealed to the Federal Government, the Oyo State Government, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and other well-meaning Nigerians to intervene and ensure their safe release.
According to her, they have remained in captivity since Friday and are pleading for peaceful intervention to prevent loss of lives.
“We have been here since Friday. I am making this video to ask for help from everyone. They should come to our help and settle this thing peacefully so that our lives will not be lost,” she added.
