The Benin Monarch, Ewuare II, has pronounced a spiritual curse against k!dnappers, armed r0bbers and individuals allegedly planning to commit cr!minal acts within his kingdom and across Edo State.

The royal proclamation was carried out through priests and priestesses of various shrines, the Ewaise (traditional physicians), the Iwebo society, and Aiyelala.

The spiritual exercise began with a procession from the Oba’s Palace and culminated at the palace’s main entrance in Benin City.

Participants, dressed in ceremonial attire and carrying traditional spiritual objects, performed libation rites, offered prayers, and invoked ancestral spirits to bear witness against those responsible for vi0lent cr!mes and anyone accused of collaborating with them anywhere in the state.
