A Nigerian man has sparked widespread reactions on social media after sharing what he claimed is a list of requirements a church allegedly demands from couples before conducting their wedding ceremony.
The man, identified as Oyeniran John on Facebook, posted an image of the alleged document and questioned the church behind it.
He captioned the post:
“Which Church is this oo.”
The document, titled “CHURCH DEMAND LIST,” contains several items, cash payments and logistical requirements that couples are allegedly expected to provide before their wedding.
Among the listed demands are food and drinks for church workers, fuel for the church generator, transportation for the General Overseer, and other provisions.
According to the document, food is divided into three categories.
For the church band, the list allegedly requests an Icooler of rice, 24 crates of soft drinks, and ₦30,000.
For ministers, it reportedly demands packaged meals, two crates of soft drinks, and ₦10,000 each for 10 ministers.
Musicians are also expected to receive food, two crates of soft drinks, and ₦5,000 each.
The document further states that these items must be provided before the wedding ceremony, warning that the church’s music and sound system will not be turned on if the requirements are not met.

The post has since generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users expressing surprise over the alleged requirements.
However, Oyeniran John did not disclose the identity of the church from which the alleged demand list originated.
