Neon Adejo’s Wife Defends Him Amid Abu$e Allegations Involving Photographer David Martins

The wife of gospel singer Neon Adejo has defended her husband amid the ongoing controversy involving photographer David Martins and his estranged wife, Alicia.

In a statement shared online, she criticised what she described as a carefully constructed narrative that selectively presents information in a bid to influence public opinion.

She expressed concern over situations where people who received genuine support during difficult periods later make damaging allegations against those who assisted them.

Addressing suggestions that Neon may have had ulterior motives for helping Alicia, she said her husband has always been generous with his resources and has never neglected his family to assist others.

“My husband chooses to spend money assisting someone he believes is genuinely in need, best believe he’s spent much more for me, our son and the rest of his family. He has and will never deprive me or his family in order to do so.”

She also questioned David over the allegations surrounding his marriage, asking whether he abu$ed his wife, left her and their son without adequate shelter in a foreign country, and failed to provide for their needs.

According to her, those are the issues David should address rather than shifting responsibility to Neon, who she said only stepped in to provide assistance.

The singer’s wife maintained that helping someone in need should not automatically be interpreted as evidence of ulterior motives.

She urged the public to focus on the facts surrounding the dispute and the actions of those directly involved rather than being influenced by competing narratives online.
