NBA star Anthony Edwards’ baby mamas unite to take him to court

A legal battle involving has taken a fresh twist, as new evidence from another former partner has been introduced in an ongoing child support dispute.

Court filings reveal that , who shares a daughter with the NBA star, submitted a declaration from , who also has a child with him. Howard is pushing for the case to be handled in Los Angeles County, while Edwards maintains it should be heard in Georgia.

In her statement, Desroches claimed Edwards had been making voluntary monthly child support payments to her, allegedly through wire transfers from a Beverly Hills-based bank account. Howard’s legal team argues this suggests the player has meaningful ties to California, challenging his claim of no connection to the state.

The dispute, which has lasted over a year, centers largely on jurisdiction. Edwards has asked the court to seal the case and limit further filings from Howard, accusing her of submitting “harassing” and unfounded motions. His legal team also alleged that the case is being used to publicly target him with damaging claims.

Previously, a California court ruled it did not have jurisdiction, while a Georgia court determined the case should proceed there and ordered Howard to cover legal fees. The matter remains unresolved as both sides continue to contest where the case should be heard and how child support should be determined.
