In an interview with Biola Adebayo Ent, veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko stated that he has lost three wives, including one who died while giving birth

Kosoko said he remains grateful to God for keeping him alive. He stated that if he had also died, there would have been nobody to take care of his children.

Kosoko said he was not wealthy enough to provide everything his children needed while raising them, but they understood his situation and cooperated with him. He said their understanding and support were among the reasons he continued to regard them as good children.

In Kosoko’s words: “My wife died during childbirth, that is Bidemi’s mom. You know I have lost 3 wives but I thank God I am alive. If I had gone and they are gone who would take care of the children?”
