A Nigerian woman has ignited internet debate by listing five things her partner does that she believes “low-effort men” cannot manage.
According to her, her relationship is based on caring, provision, and stability, which she believes distinguishes her partner from others.
“The number one thing my man does is that I have a monthly allowance. Since we started dating, he put me on a monthly allowance, and even if I have that, I can still ask him for anything I want like wigs, skincare, and the rest. The allowance is just like a dash.” She said.
She continued by saying that her partner includes her in all of his decisions, regardless of how important or little they may appear.
She went on to say that he always goes above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable, from mobility to basic necessities.
“He tells me before he does anything. Even when he wanted to buy his car, he called me before paying.
Whenever I’m going somewhere far, he either comes to pick me up or sends his driver. He doesn’t do 50-50, and he always makes sure I have fuel in my house before he leaves,” she added.
Online reactions to her remarks were swift, with many individuals expressing differing views.
One user wrote, “Low-effort men don faint already. God when 😭” while another added, “Make una no pressure us abeg 😂”
