A Nigerian man has taken to social media to express his disappointment after his I Just Got Back (IJGB) buddies returned to the country and reportedly converted him into their personal ATM.

In a viral TikTok video shared by a user named @lineberryajr, the man said that since they arrived, all they had done is borrow money from him with no evidence of payback.

He wondered whether they had scheduled their own Detty December in February or June, and why pals coming from America and Germany would borrow money from someone who had been in Nigeria all year.

According to him, instead of his IJGB pals flexing on him, he ended up spending on them and then loan them money.

He went on to say that while others frequently relate anecdotes about their IJGB buddies overspending on them, his personal experience has been quite opposite.

He joked that he doesn’t recall ever claiming to be an artist or releasing a successful EP to warrant such treatment.

Many reactions have followed online. One commentator wrote, “This one is funny but painful.” Another added, “Na Nigerians dey sponsor abroad now?”

In frustration, the man joked that he now wants to see their passports and threatened to take them unless his money was given back before they returned abroad.
