A Nigerian woman’s post explaining why her internet boyfriend was arrested by security has gone viral.

The lady @ARIAREIGN180683 on X (previously Twitter) claimed that she met her online beau using Snapchat.

The lady claims that her unidentified boyfriend sends her money on a daily basis.

In a viral tweet, she revealed that he paid for her three-year housing rent.

‎”He told me he came from a very wealthy family of generational wealth. I even lied to him my rent has expired he sent me money for three years payment. Bro was basically funding my needs and doing everything“,

After three months of courting, her online boyfriend invited her to Benin, where he lives, and handed her N600k for the ticket.

During preparation, she shared her boyfriend’s photo with a friend, who claimed he almost used her for rituals.

‎Sharing the aftermath of her friend’s confession,read what the lady narrated below:

“So I was still secretly making arrangements to meet him. The next day my body wasn’t moving me to go so I lied to him something came up and the money was gone,I fabricated a story, he sent another 700k and said I should start coming“.

In a surprising twist, she learned that her internet boyfriend had been arrested for murder.

‎Sharing how she reacted to the discovery, @ARIAREIGN180683 narrated, “My phone fell from my hand, my heart was beating fast I was so scared,I screamed,coz of the shock. This could have been me my mind kept singing. Before you knew the news was everywhere on tiktok, everywhere. I was so happy I hadn’t gone .my friend was very happy too. That was how God saved my life. He’s still in jail I pray he remains there”.
