Miss World Nigeria 2026, Tamunosoye Karibi-George, Wins Top Model for Africa Title

Miss World Nigeria 2026, Tamunosoye Karibi-George, has emerged as the winner of the Top Model for Africa title at the ongoing Miss World competition in Vietnam.

According to the organisers, her victory has automatically secured her a place in the Top 40 quarterfinals of the 2026 Miss World competition.

Karibi-George joins other continental Top Model winners, including Miss World Dominican Republic, who won Top Model for the Americas and Caribbean; Miss World France, who emerged as Top Model for Europe; and Miss World Vietnam, who won Top Model for Asia and Oceania.

The continental winners earned coveted places in the Top 40 after distinguishing themselves during the Top Model competition held as part of the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XVII, themed “Soul of Heritage.”

The 75th Anniversary Miss World Festival began in Vietnam on August 9 and is scheduled to continue until the grand finale on September 5.

Karibi-George, 26, is a communications professional from Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She was crowned Miss World Nigeria on June 6 at the Balmoral Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

Her latest achievement places her among the leading contestants advancing in the prestigious international beauty competition, as she continues to represent Nigeria on the global stage.
