A Nigerian lady has sparked emotional reactions online after recounting how her boyfriend returned the ₦500,000 she spent months repaying to him.

According to her, the money was initially given to her as a loan, with an agreement that she would repay it within five months. She explained that she stayed committed to the arrangement by sending him ₦100,000 monthly from her salary.

The lady said she successfully made the payments for four straight months, and before sending the final installment, her boyfriend instructed her to call him immediately after making the transfer.

However, shortly after she sent the last ₦100,000 and contacted him, she reportedly received a bank alert showing that the full ₦500,000 had been transferred back into her account.

She added that the unexpected gesture, along with the kind words he shared with her, left her emotional and deeply touched.

In response, the boyfriend reportedly told her that the loan was never about the money, but about testing her sincerity and ability to keep her word.

“Well done my Queen. You see, babe… the money was never the issue. I could never collect that money back from you. I just wanted to see if you were truly a woman of your word,” he reportedly said.
