Sugar_Pops_, a social media user, shared an unexpected relationship story with a close friend.

The post stated that a friend proposed to his girlfriend, who accepted.

She reportedly informed him that she would be travelling to Nigeria to formally inform her family about their engagement, with plans for him to join her later that month.

However, things took an unexpected turn when he allegedly discovered her wedding invitation on a mutual friend’s status update.

When confronted, she reportedly claimed she had returned to Nigeria with the intention of ending her relationship with her “sugar daddy.” Instead, she stated that the man persuaded her to become his third wife.

@Sugar_Pops_ said: “My friend is crashing out because he finally proposed to his babe and she agreed. Then she said she’s coming back to Naija to officially inform her family, the plan was he’d join her this month. Only for him to see her wedding invite on a mutual friend’s status. He confronted her and she said she came to naija to break up with her sugar daddy but he convinced her to be his 3rd wife.
