A Nigerian lawyer has generated outrage online after accusing persons of using spiritual attacks in court proceedings.
In a widely shared tweet, the lawyer expressed concern with what she saw as people spiritually targeting legal practitioners just because they defend clients in court.
He believes that after a disagreement has been filed in court, the parties should let the legal process play out.
He emphasised that lawyers are simply professionals paid to represent their clients and should not be drawn into personal or spiritual disputes.
The lawyer emphasised that attorneys are hired and paid to provide legal representation, not to initiate the dispute.
She advised persons participating in court cases to separate personal frustrations from professional responsibilities and to cease targeting lawyers.

“If you have a problem with someone and the case is already in court, and you still want to report the matter to your juju, pls leave the lawyer out of it. Stop attacking the lawyer spiritually, attack your opponent only I mean the person that you are having problem with in court. He is the one paying the lawyer. If he is not paying the lawyer, the lawyer will not be there. Why are you attacking lawyers spiritually? Please now.”
His post has since generated mixed reactions online.
