Lady cries out after spending ₦1.1 million to buy a faulty iPhone 15 Pro Max

A Nigerian woman has gone viral after lamenting over a phone she said she bought for more than ₦1.1 million, claiming it turned out to be faulty and has affected her business operations.

In a video circulating online, she explained that the device was purchased from years of savings while she worked to improve her life through content creation and business activities.

She said, “Not as if I just wake up and I remove N1.1 million naira to buy a phone. I saved for it. I saved that money.”

She added that her intention was to upgrade her tools to improve her content production, noting that she handles both business and personal content creation. According to her, “I only wanted a better life. I only wanted to work my way out from poverty.”

The woman further stated that she relies heavily on her phone for daily work, creating videos for resellers and managing her business. She also said, “I work 2, 4, 7,” emphasizing her dedication.

However, she alleged that the phone developed faults shortly after purchase, particularly with the camera, which she said affected her content quality.

She said, “The camera was bad and the iPhone was shining white. Even when I want to make a video in my store, it’s always shining white.”

According to her, efforts to resolve the issue with the seller were unsuccessful, as she claimed the seller responded with in$ults, leading her to escalate the matter.

She also said she reported the case to the police, where both sides were heard during mediation.

Reiterating her frustration, she maintained that the purchase was made with hard-earned money, insisting the issue has disrupted her work and livelihood.

“I’m not sure I’m going to let it slide. I can’t because my life is paused,” she said.
