A Nigerian woman has described an unusual experience with a bus conductor who allegedly smacked her in the head before hurriedly driving away.
The lady, identified on X as @officiaL_QV, stated that the event occurred after she negotiated the transportation fare with the conductor.
The conductor demanded ₦400, but she offered ₦300.
“He said #400, I told him #300. He muttered something about me dressing all nice and still pricing.”
She ignored the comment and boarded the bus.
When she arrived at her stop, she paid the conductor ₦500. He first returned ₦100 as her balance, but she declined it.
“He gave me #100 balance, I said I wasn’t taking that. He gave me #200.”
She claimed that while she was putting the money in her bag, the conductor abruptly smacked her on the head.
‘KOIN! Right in the Middle of My Head’
She described the sound of the alleged blow as “KOIN” and said the conductor quickly drove away.
“I was putting the money in my bag when I heard KOIN! right in the middle of my head.”
“Before I could turn, the bus had zoomed off and this guy was laughing!”
The lady stated that she ultimately saw the conductor again, and he was the first to notice her and approach her.
She revealed that he had apologised for the event.
The unexpected interaction drew emotions online, with social media users expressing differing views on the conductor’s behaviour and his apology.
