Armed k!dnappers have abducted a woman, Olanike Ogundare, from her residence in the Oke Agaye area of Ijedodo in .
The incident reportedly occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at No. 1 Olufemi Ogundare Street. According to residents, the att@ckers carried out a well-coordinated operation, overpowering the security guard at gunpoint before taking the victim to an unknown location.

Sources familiar with the situation earlier told that the k!dnappers have contacted the victim’s family twice, initially demanding a ransom of N60 million.
The abductors reportedly used the victim’s phone to reach out, with communication handled through one Mr. Dapo Adeola, who is said to be acting as an intermediary.
Further reports indicate that the ransom demand has now been converted to United States dollars, a move investigators believe may be aimed at making the transaction harder to trace.
It was also gathered that the victim’s husband has already transferred N5 million to Adeola, although it remains unclear whether the money has been passed on to the k!dnappers or converted.
Security sources maintain that the victim is still in captivity, as efforts continue to track communications and financial transactions linked to the case.
