TikTok personality Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has responded to a Twitter user identified as Ruth after the social media user compared old and recent photos of the content creator.
The controversy began after Ruth and other Twitter users circulated two images from different periods, including a screenshot from one of Jarvis’ livestreams. The photos were described online as showing the TikTok personality before and after marriage.
Jarvis addressed the comparison in a video, questioning why Ruth was so focused on comparing her appearance and suggesting that she should concentrate on getting married rather than analysing someone else’s pictures.
“So, on Twitter, there’s one lady called Ruth. I don’t know who gave her Ruth because the Ruth I know in the Bible, they are not like that,” Jarvis said.
She further criticised Ruth over the comparison, referencing a previous incident involving the Twitter user.
“Ruth, you’ll not go and marry; you are there comparing before and after. Was it not your own that they posted you were swallowing how many wraps of akpu”
Jarvis also accused some Twitter users of deliberately using her pictures to attract engagement and make money on the platform.
“You people are using me to cash out on that Twitter app,” she added.
Her response has since generated reactions across social media, with users sharing different opinions about the exchange and the growing trend of comparing celebrities’ appearances before and after major life events.
