Oyedepo made the statement while encouraging Christians to look to God rather than people for their provision and direction.

The bishop said that throughout his ministry, he had neither solicited financial support from individuals nor contacted people by telephone or letter seeking sponsorship.

“I’ve never had a sponsor in ministry. I’ve never called on anyone on phone or by mail. God is more than enough,” Oyedepo said.

He used his experience to encourage believers who may be facing financial difficulties or struggling with businesses and personal responsibilities.

According to him, people can become confused when they look in the wrong direction for help, urging Christians to fix their attention on God.

“You have been looking in the wrong direction. That’s why you’re confused. You fix your eyes on Him. You never be ashamed,” he said.

Oyedepo maintained that believers should develop confidence in God’s ability to provide for their needs rather than becoming excessively dependent on human beings.

He also connected the principle to his earlier teaching that Christians are redeemed to become blessings to their world.

According to the cleric, believers should not view themselves as burdens or perpetual strugglers but should aspire to become pace setters, pathfinders and trailblazers.

He encouraged his listeners to develop a vision for what they want to accomplish and trust God for the wisdom required to achieve it.

Oyedepo further declared that the struggles affecting some of his listeners, particularly concerning their businesses, would come to an end. “The end has come to every struggle over that business,” he declared.

The bishop, however, emphasised the importance of wisdom in achieving breakthroughs, describing it as the “master key to a word of breakthroughs.”
