After making a daring prediction about Nigeria’s future, well-known cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has caused a stir on the internet.

His claim that mosquitoes will entirely vanish from the nation in 2033 has left many Nigerians perplexed, amused, and discussing the possibility.

In his words, he said:

“2033, there will be no mosquito in Nigeria. Don’t believe it o, just write it and hold it. If you’re alive then, you will see it.”

The prophecy has since gone viral, with some Nigerians questioning how such a thing could happen, while others jokingly asked if malaria would also vanish alongside mosquitoes.

As expected, social media users wasted no time reacting, with many tagging the statement as one of the boldest predictions yet from the controversial prophet.

It will be recalled that the Primate also recently cautioned President Bola Tinubu against selecting any of the governors who defected to the ruling party, particularly from the northern region, warning that such a move could trigger serious backlash.
