Content creator Habeeb Hamzat, also known by his stage name Peller, has addressed his contentious statement that was taken to be an accusation of adultery against relationship therapist Solomon Buchi.
The dispute started when Peller said something during a livestream that Solomon Buchi took to mean that he had slept with the wife of another man. Buchi reportedly responded to the allegation and filed a lawsuit.
Peller has since clarified, though, that he was talking to a different man—a fan who goes by Mr. Buchi and has harassed him online in the past.
Peller claimed that the man he was referring to had already been in touch with him, apologised, and clarified that there had been a misunderstanding.
Read what he said below;
“Una know that my fan, Mr Buchi, that used to abuse me, so I wanted to abuse the man back. And the man had already even apologised to me that, Peller, it’s a misunderstanding.
And this man that always uses English, because his name too is Buchi, I didn’t even know that your name is Buchi. The man now changed everything to his head.
I don’t know his name is Buchi too. I was only talking about the one who had reached out to me after I said something about him online. Then this other one, the educated one, came dey vex. Sorry oo, it’s not you oo.”
Peller’s explanation coincides with the ongoing debate about his comments and Solomon Buchi’s response to them.
The content creator insisted that Solomon Buchi was not the target of his statement, but rather someone else.
