A Nigerian woman based in the United Arab Emirates has sparked online debate over migration and security concerns.
In a viral video, she expressed frustration with insecurity in Nigeria, citing it as one of the reasons many citizens choose to relocate abroad, commonly known as “japa.”
She lamented that, despite moving abroad in search of safety and stability, rising tensions and reports of conflict in other regions have fueled new fears.
It should be noted that Iran recently launched an attack against the UAE, sending a couple of missiles into the country.
The woman stated that she does not want to be evacuated back to Nigeria, claiming that she feels more secure in countries with established military structures and air defense systems.
