“If you’re above 30 without kids, you’re not missing anything” — man sparks debate on parenting

A guy has sparked outrage on social media after encouraging adults over the age of 30 who do not have children to postpone parenthood and instead focus on personal freedom.

The statements, which appeared in a viral video earlier this week, emphasized the difficulties of raising children and the lifestyle changes that come with it.

His comments have subsequently sparked debate, with some agreeing on the financial and emotional obligations of parenting and others criticizing his tone and portrayal of children.

If you’re above the age of 30 and you still don’t have kids you are not missing anything. Just stay where you are, continue doing what you’re doing right now. Travel the world… because once you start having those idiots your life is over. You can’t do anything,” he said.

The man went on to discuss his own experience with raising numerous children, mentioning constant surveillance, a lack of rest, and family tension as main obstacles.

His remarks also touched on the pressure that parenthood can put on relationships, reigniting debate about the preparedness and timing of having children, particularly in light of economic instability.

Now me I have multiple of them. One is chewing a wire, the other one is swallowing a coin… you can’t even sleep at night. Just going to the mall, you have to pack diapers… then your wife is also angry… if you’re above 30 and you’ve not started, stay where you are,” he added.
