A Nigerian woman has sparked debate online after confessing that money played a significant role in her choice to leave her marriage.
In a viral video posted on X (previously Twitter) by @Mazi_Chinonso1, she disclosed that she married ten years ago but is now divorced.
She says she is currently single and looking for a wealthy man to settle down with.

“If my ex-husband was rich like Dangote, I wouldn’t have left. Financial stability is very important to me when choosing a partner.
I hate poor men. I can only marry a rich man, and I don’t need to be rich myself to attract a rich man, because I am a woman.”
The lady went on to clarify that her personal riches isn’t required to attract a wealthy man because being a woman already offers her an advantage in relationships.
She also stated that she wants a spouse who can provide financial stability for her and her future family.
Her speech has stirred debates on social media, with people expressing differing views on love, money, and relationships.
While some agreed, financial security is essential for a good marriage. Others chastised her, stating that love should take precedence over money.
