A Nigerian lady has generated outrage online after expressing her thoughts on how to spot an untrustworthy man during the chatting stage.
According to her, a man’s reaction when a woman confesses she hasn’t eaten can show if he is actually interested or simply passing the time.
Read what she said below:
“If you want to know a talking stage that is not serious, it starts from food. He can ask you, ‘Oh baby, have you eaten?’ and you’ll say, ‘No, I haven’t eaten this afternoon. I don’t know what to eat and I’m just feeling somehow.’”
She went on to say that a man who truly knows the circumstance will be able to read between the lines and respond appropriately.
She did, however, condemn guys who express worry verbally yet do nothing to help.
“If it was a wise and sensible man, he would understand that you need money for food. But the mumu boy will be like, ‘You’ve not eaten? You don’t know what to eat? Baby, try and find something to eat and eat for me too.’ He will just end it with that phrase. Are you not supposed to ask for my account details?” she added.
Her statement has elicited a mixed response online, with many Nigerians divided on her expectations.
One user wrote, “So na billing be love now?” 😂 Another commented, “This one na entitlement o. Talking stage don turn ATM stage.”
