Bobby Maris, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo, has finally broken his silence following reports of the breakdown of their marriage.

In a video shared on Friday, Maris acknowledged the flood of messages he has received since news of their marital crisis became public about two weeks ago.

While expressing gratitude to fans for their prayers, support and concern, he made it clear that he would not be sharing his side of the story on social media.

According to him, his decision to remain silent is to protect their children from further public attention.

“Thank you so much to everyone who has been reaching out to me, those who called me personally…I really appreciate. Then to those in my Dm asking me to ‘speak up, speak up’….No, I wouldn’t do that because of the kids. Thank you so much and God bless you all.”

Bobby Maris and Uche Ogbodo got married in January 2023 and share two children together. The actress also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
