“I used to work for demons” – Tonto Dikeh opens up on dark days, shares journey to salvation

Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress, has spoken out about her past hardships, disclosing specifics about what she describes as her “dark days” after finding redemption.

During a gospel ministration in Tanzania, the actress reflected on her journey, revealing that she formerly struggled with confusion while seeking guidance in life.

According to her, this search led her to bad habits and decisions that she now greatly regrets.

“In the midst of trying to navigate life, I’ve dipped my hands in so much filth and dirt. I’ve joined a cult, I’ve worked with a demon so hard. I know who he is, and I know that he doesn’t have anything for me anymore. Today God said, ‘I’ll take you back and clean you up. I’ll put you on altars to preach my gospel,” she said.

Tonto said that she eventually reached a watershed moment after receiving what she described as a heavenly call from God, which lead her back to her faith.

In a follow-up Instagram post, the mother of one revealed what she characterised as her first assignment from God: clean His house.

She acknowledged to challenging the command, pointing out that she already had staff in charge of keeping her home.

However, she claimed that God made it clear to her that the task was intended to launch her into His glory and cleanse her from the inside out.

Tonto stated late last year that she had rededicated her life to Christ, which marked a watershed moment in her spiritual path.
