A woman has stirred extensive discussion online after detailing how she recovered ₦10 million that she had donated towards her boyfriend’s relocation preparations after he advised an open relationship soon before departing for Canada.
According to her narrative, the pair had been together for four years and were preparing for his departure abroad.
She spent six months aiding with document processing, praying for him, and lending him ₦10 million from her business account and loan facility to provide proof of funds.
The woman claimed that the situation shifted during a dinner outing on the night before his departure.
While pondering on their future plans, she stated that her partner expressed reservations about maintaining a long-distance relationship after going abroad.
Before making his proposal, he appreciated her assistance during the move process.
“Babe, you are the best woman a man could ask for. But I want us to be very honest with ourselves so we don’t hurt each other.”
She claims he later recommended an open relationship and added that if he found someone who could help him obtain permanent status through marriage, she should consider it a sensible decision.
Rather than confront him right away, the woman stated she politely excused herself from the meal.
She used her own credentials to access his banking app and transfer ₦10 million to her account. The transaction was labelled “Strategic Survival Fund.”
According to her account, she then returned to the table, made an important phone call, exited the restaurant, and blocked him from all communication lines.
