“I paid to see a lion” – Man shares video of what he saw at Port Harcourt Zoo

A Nigerian man has stirred outrage online after allegedly visiting a zoo in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, only to see what appeared to be a moulded lion displayed within a cage rather than a living animal.

The incident, captured in a viral video, has sparked extensive discussion on social media.

In the video, the man captured footage of what looked to be a porcelain lion inside a cage.

The sculpture was placed behind bars, creating the illusion that it was a live lion on show.

In response to what he saw, the man questioned why such an object was being shown in place of a real lion.

He also charged the zoo’s administration with tricking visitors who paid to see real animals.
