“I hope they don’t get caught sha” — Lady declares support for women making money through illegal means

A Nigerian lady has sparked controversy online after openly praising women who allegedly make money through illegal activities instead of relying on men for financial support.

She argued that people often underestimate women’s ability to earn money on their own, assuming that any wealthy woman must have a man funding her lifestyle.

She said she was particularly impressed by a woman she came across on Snapchat who appeared to be spending money allegedly earned through illegal means.

Explaining her stance, she said some women are involved in activities people would never suspect, challenging the common belief that men are behind most women’s financial success.

She said, “There are some women you see with plenty of money, and it’s not a man giving them that money. They are doing illègal things, and I’m so proud of them. I hope they don’t get caught sha.”

She also claimed that society often looks down on women because of assumptions about the source of their wealth.

The lady further said she admired how the woman she saw on Snapchat was spending her alleged earnings, describing her as smart.

Her comments have reignited discussions on financial independence, gender stereotypes, and the various ways people accumulate wealth.

Although her remarks appeared to applaud women’s ability to earn money without relying on men, her admission that the activities were illegal has made the conversation controversial.

She, however, did not disclose the identity of the woman she mentioned or provide details of the alleged illegal activities.
