A Nigerian woman has generated outrage online after complaining about a house she claims has given her nothing but losses since she moved in.

In a TikTok video, @exellency_sky reported that she initially rented the house for ₦15 million, but the rent was later upped to ₦20 million after moving in.

She claims that things have never been the same after then.

The woman shared her experience, claiming that when she moved into the compound, she had ten cars, but she now has only one.

“I have neighbours in this compound. When I came here, I came with 10 cars. Now I have only one car. Can you imagine?” she said.

She went on to blame what she called “bad belle people” in the compound, saying that the house itself has no luck.

“This house doesn’t have luck. Anybody that comes into this house, even if you come with plenty money, you will go back with nothing,” she added.

Her assertion has elicited diverse reactions online, with many arguing whether misery can actually be linked to a house or if living circumstances alter over time.

A commentator wrote, “From 10 cars to one? That one pain me for you.” Another said, “This is why I don’t like staying where too many people dey.”
