Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has now revealed that she and fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji are no longer as close as they once were.

In a recent interview on the Tea with Tay podcast, the actress revealed the information while discussing their friendship and the connection they formerly had in the Nigerian film industry.

Kate Henshaw said in the interview that she is still unsure of the exact reason behind their distancing from one another.

The 53-year-old actress claimed that there might have been some mistrust, but she was unable to provide a clear explanation for why their relationship changed.

“We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her,” she said.

Since then, the actress’s confession has generated reactions on social media, with many fans expressing surprise at the news given how close the two stars appeared in Nollywood’s early years.
