A Nigerian woman has admitted that she got acquainted with four of her boyfriend’s buddies in retaliation for supposedly discovering him cheating on her.

The woman claimed in a video posted on X (previously Twitter) that the incident occurred the month before after she found out her partner was unfaithful. She chose to take revenge rather than break up with him or stop their relationship.

“If I catch my guy cheating on me, of course I will cheat back. Funny enough, this thing happened to me last month. I caught my guy cheating on me, but guess what, I revenged.”

She clarified that the four males she became associated with were friends of her boyfriend, whom she was already acquainted with due to their frequent hangouts.

She acknowledged that it had happened more than once and said that she had purposefully picked his buddies to exact revenge on him.

“I had to be with four of his friends. I knew them through him, we do hang out together. I just had to do my own back, and it wasn’t once. You can’t be cheating on me and be letting me know to my face,” she added.

Social media users are divided on whether it is appropriate to take revenge on an unfaithful partner in light of her confession.

However, the woman didn’t seem to regret her choice, indicating that she thought her boyfriend’s behaviour justified her reaction.
