Nigerian content creator Davrel has disclosed that he would vote for Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election if he had a voter’s card.
Davrel made the revelation during a livestream conversation with food critic and fellow content creator Opeyemi Famakin, who asked him about his preferred candidate ahead of the next general election.
When Famakin asked who he intended to vote for, Davrel explained that he did not have a voter’s card. However, when asked to name his preferred candidate hypothetically, he identified Obi.
“I can’t lie to you, Peter Obi. What about you?” Davrel said.
In response, Famakin said he would vote for whoever he believed was best suited for the position but preferred to disclose his choice away from the camera.
“The best person for the job is who I’ll vote for. I’ll answer it off camera. It’s not who you think. I like Sowore,” Famakin said.
The exchange has highlighted the political preferences of the two content creators as conversations about the 2027 presidential election continue.
While Davrel named Obi as his hypothetical choice, Famakin did not publicly disclose his final preference during the exchange.
