“I blocked her…” — Lady blocks her secondary school best friend, gives reason

A social media post by a woman explaining why she broke off her long-standing friendship with her former closest friend from high school has generated conflicting responses.

The woman expressed her feelings about X and claimed that she no longer feels a connection to the friend she once treasured.

Since then, her message has sparked online discussions about friendship, social inequalities, and personal development.

She claims that the friendship began when they were in secondary school. She feels, however, that their paths in life have diverged greatly.

She clarified that her friend has two children from separate fathers and is married. She added that although the woman is a tailor, she is “not that skilled.”

On the other hand, she identified as single and childless. She implied that their priorities and way of life had changed.

The woman remembered that she hadn’t seen her pal in five years. She said they had a hard time coming up with topics to talk about throughout that visit.

She wanted to buy me an eggroll a girl was hawking and ‘minerals’ I told her not to bother,” she wrote.

The poster went on to say that, just like in the past, her friend still anticipates her coming home. She did, however, state that she no longer felt the need to keep the relationship going.

We do not have anything in common at all again,” she stated.

The woman claimed that she eventually disabled her friend’s contact information because she felt she had “outgrown” the friendship and wanted to prevent further correspondence.

There’s no point pretending to be friends with her,” she concluded.
