A Nigerian man has shared a disturbing encounter with police officers, alleging that they humiliated him, searched his private phone and watched int!mate videos of his wife shortly after she gave birth.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he claimed he was stopped at a police checkpoint while rushing to the bank to withdraw money for his family after the birth of his child.
According to him, the officers questioned his tinted permit and vehicle documents before allegedly demanding money to buy fuel. After he told them he had no cash, he claimed they took him to a nearby police office.
Narrating his experience, he said:
“My wife had just given birth, so I went to the market to buy food. They stopped me at a checkpoint and started asking for money. I told them I was rushing to the bank because my family needed to eat. Instead, they took me to their office.”
He further alleged that one of the officers accessed videos on his phone showing his wife during childbirth.
“He started watching videos of my wife while she was naked in labour. I told him it was my wife, but he shouted at me to keep quiet. They searched my bank account, stripped me and later asked me to help them complete their building with ₦40 million,” he added.
The allegations have sparked reactions on social media, with many users calling for an investigation into the claims.
